This model of gas cylinder stand includes the features found on our standard cylinder rack and adds the vise-like holding capability of the cylinder locking ring system. With use of safety cylinder caps (Model SC2501FS or DOT standard caps, not included), this unit makes an ideal system for over-the-road cylinder transportation. Accommodates two cylinders from 4 to 10 inch diameter. The cylinder stand is constructed from 11 gauge plate steel. The two cylinder capacity rack uses four 1.5 inch polypropylene straps and steel cinch buckles to secure the cylinders to the stand. Fully welded construction and quality powder-coat paint finishes provide structural integrity and long life. The surfaces coming into contact with the cylinders are protected with steel reinforced vinyl edge guards, protecting your cylinders. Chain sets can be added for secondary support. 1. Place stand frame on mounting surface. Attach with fasteners at least 5/16” diameter Grade 5.
2. Slide locking posts in square holes into stand frame. Use wing bolt in the rear of the cylinder bracket to secure in place.
3. Attach Locking rings to posts using 2 wing bolts each and 2 flat washers each.
4. Place cylinders on rack and secure with straps.
5. Slide locking post and ring assemble around the threads of the cylinder. Replace and tighten DOT approved safety cap (not included).
6. Tighten wing bolts.
