Keep your workers safe and increase fire prevention by storing and charging lithium-ion batteries inside this lithium-ion battery charging safety cabinet with manual close doors. This patent-pending safety cabinet provides advanced protection to reduce the risks of battery fires, thermal runaway and protects against explosions and smoke. <br/><br/> The lithium-ion battery charging cabinet is built using all-welded, 18-gauge (1mm) steel and includes a double wall with 1.5" (38mm) of insulating air space to absorb the energy of high temperature battery failures for improved fire safety. The manual close doors are attached with continuous piano hinges with flame guards to prevent secondary fires outside of the cabinet along with heat activated expanding door seals. Each door has baffled vents with a unique double-layer wire-mesh flame arrestor. The reinforced steel latch cradle plates ensures the doors remain closed with three stainless steel bullet latches that offer durability, increased heat resistance and explosion containment. Integrated filters absorbs toxins and traps smoke. Paddle door handle is lockable and allows for simple operation using fingertips, while minimizing "catches" from passing traffic. Includes two keys and accepts a padlock (not included) for additional and security. The safety charging cabinet also comes with one adjustable shelf with a weight capacity of 65 lbs and is approximately 2" thick. <br/><br/> An 8-receptacle surge protected power strip is located inside the li-ion cabinet to plug in your charging devices. There is an always-on axial fan to provide cross-flow fresh air ventilation and regulate the interior temperature. If the temperature exceeds 135 degrees inside the cabinet the spring loaded dampers will close to block the fan opening to reduce the release of smoke and gases by as much as 99%. There is also a heat activated warning decal on the outside of the cabinet to warn of excessive interior heat. A dedicated 120VAC/60Hz GFCI power source is required along with a 14 gauge cord (not included). The cabinet also has adjustable leveling feet and grounding connector. Each cabinet comes with a manufacturer's 10-year warranty against structural defects in materials and workmanship and a 1-year warranty on Serviceable Parts from the date of purchase. <br/><br/> The total number of batteries that can be safety stored and charged in the li-ion battery cabinet will vary based on the amount of energy in each battery. Total Energy Containment Rating (TECR)of the cabinet is 2kWh. <br/><br/>
